Having been wanting to buy a dSLR for a long time, but wasn't sure I'm ready to invest on it yet -- cost & weight were my main concern. I then decided to get those digital cameras that allow me to change lenses. I have been using Canon IXUS 860 IS ever since 2007 (or 2008?), it meets the daily requirements and it's easy to carry around. However, sometimes, when I want to take picture that's far away, moving, or with back lighting, this model is just not that... enough. I wanted to get a Canon at first since I'm used to Canon, but, when I googled Best Buy or Future Shop, I can only find one model. I wasn't able to find one in the actual store as well. Then I wanted to get a Sony one, but with the concern of memory disk since Sony uses it's own, I didn't really want to invest one new memory sticks as well (picky eh~). Went through couple websites, forums, asked friends, and I finally decided on Nikon J3. Nikon J3 isn't exactly a true dSLR, but it gives me a choice of selecting lenses on different needs. I think I'm good with that for now.
My purchse came with:
Nikon J3 Camera
1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm Standard Zoom Lens f/3.5-5.6
1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm Telephoto Zoom f/3.8-5.6
Camera Bag
Wireless Adapter
16G Memory Card
(and it's so much cheaper buy it in US!!)
Using Daisy as model to test it out ^^
