[beauty] Topbox - June Box

These past couple months I've wished that I knew Topbox before Beautybox 5.  I requested for subscription toward the end of last year and waited for 3 months before I can subscribe (even longer than IPSY!).  When the wait was over, I decided to let go since I had a few subscriptions already and I wanted to wait until my beautybox subscription is over and get to Topbox.  I guess I was not very happy with BB5 the past couple months so I went on wait list again.  This time I was notified earlier... way too earlier than I expected.  I thought if I pass the subscription chance again, I might not be able to get it again.  So, here we go, I subscribed.

It came with the signature tube and a big bottle, I guess it's too big to fit the tube.

By the looks of it, I knew I didn't get the "one" I wished for.  

Topbox is a Canadian subscription box and it's $12+tax a month including shipping.  You will receive 4 deluxe/full size sample each month.


This month I received:
1. La Splash Cosmetics - Nail Polish (Vernis Ongles) - $7.50

2. Barefoot Venus - Lip Fable - $7.5 (4g)

3. La Roche-Posay - Anthelios XL Lightweight Lotion SPF60 - $28 (100ml)

SFP60!! 

4. Wella Professionals - Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray - $14 (150ml)

This makes me want to buy that InStyle curling irons (no!)

Question to myself:
1. Did you like the box?
hhhmm, well, I'm still using to get only 4 items in a subscription box (can't help to compare to IPSY).  I'm happy that I got 4 brands that I've never used before.

2. How many items did you get?
4 items.  3 full sizes & 1 VERY SMALL sample size.

3. Any favourite item in the bag? Or something that you're excited to try?
I like the nail polish color & SPF60 sounds interesting.

4. Any item that you know you'll not use at all?
Not sure if I can use the Heat Protection Spray w/out the heat?
